A fictitious domain name is a name used in a work of fiction or popular culture to refer to a domain that does not actually exist. Domain names used in works of fiction have often been registered in the DNS, known as Domain Name System, either by their creators or by cyber squatters attempting to profit from it. These domain names are case sensitive and often the clear meaning of the domain names is clarified in order to avoid confusion. Domain names are re-soled, they are also renewed. Domain name also expire and you are issued a notice of the expiry. The authorized users are called domain holders.
