Running a Website Requires More Than Meets the Eye
July 18th, 2010
Many people mistakenly believe that starting up a website is an instant business and they can quit their job to start working from home the minute they put up a new site. I feel for those who put so much effort into the design and product, only to see no traffic in the first few months and then panic when they first hear about all the marketing involved. I have started advising people to consult with search engine marketing firms rather than try to take it all on themselves. Most people are good at one or two things, and need help with the rest.
