My Best Friends Marriage Proposal

My best friend had been with her boyfriend since they were 15 years old. They grew up together and being friends turned into something more when it was time for him to finally propose. Her boyfriend took me aside and told me his plan but wanted me to help him pick out the ring. He asked me if I had any ideas of what kind of ring to get her and I told him that platinum wedding bands are very nice and durable. We went shopping together and, to my surprise, got a very good deal on one. When he finally proposed to my best friend I had tears in my eyes because she loved her ring so much.
