Getting the Right Customers to Your Website

I read an article last week about marketing and small business websites.  The article mentioned that the hardest part of marketing online is finding the right customers to view your business website.  People who live in Florida will not be interested in advertising or websites related to winter boots and coats.  The article gave four suggestions to get web site traffic that was targeted to your specific audience.  I tore out the article and gave it to my brother who was starting a small company on the East side of Manhattan.  I thought that he could use some of the tips that were offered in the article.
