From Simple to Elaborate in Womens Halloween Costumes

Several of the places I used to work were filled with people who got very excited for Halloween every year. I know some people that worked for months on their elaborate costumes and sewed every piece from scratch. There were in-depth costume contests and coveted prizes. I admit that I usually went with a simple Womens Halloween costumes from a store. I wanted to be dressed up enough to be participating in the day, but not so much I felt self-conscious. I was definitely in the minority though, and it was a fun distraction from the normal routine to watch everyone in their choice of costume for the day.
