Blog is a term that had not existed before the development of the internet. When writers started pouring their thoughts out online, this term emerged as a neologism which is the shortened form of web log or log made online. After taking off, blogging has soared to new heights and is now used as a legitimate way to earn cash. In affiliate marketing, blog writers or ‘bloggers’ look for companies who wish to promote their products or services and post them on their blog sites. They get paid by the company who had posted their ads on the blogger’s page depending on the compensation arrangement they had agreed on.
